It was never lost on me that GreenPort Cannabis Dispensary opened their doors on the second anniversary of Canada’s adult use legalization. As cofounder of the first Black online space in Canada dedicated to normalizing cannabis for Black women, I was tickled by the timing. Due to scheduling issues, Natalie and I were unfortunately unable to attend the Grand Opening but we both were committed to visiting and supporting the FIRST Black-woman-owned cannabis dispensary in Ontario.
And then the second wave lockdowns hit, followed shortly after by a brutal and extended third wwave lockdown. I spent the majority of the lockdown learning more about cannabis and networking until finally I was able to share the virtual stage on a panel moderated by Greenport’s owner Vivianne Wilson. Ultimately we found our way to the Greenport Store in person on May 24th.

THIS WEEKEND We would love for you to join us as we host the our First Canna Sisters Meet Up with Vivianne Wilson and Greenport Cannabis. Saturday July 3 & Sunday July 4th, 2021.
